Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026 · Clarent Advisory LLC, doing business as EraserClap
1. Introduction
Clarent Advisory LLC, doing business as EraserClap ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Domain8, our CISSP exam preparation application.
2. Data Storage and Sync
Domain8 stores your study progress in your browser's local storage. When you create an account and sign in, your progress is also synced to your account on our hosting provider (Supabase) so you can continue on other devices. This means:
- If you use Domain8 while signed out, your quiz responses, scores, and progress stay on your device only
- If you are signed in, that same progress is also stored under your account on our servers so it can sync across devices
- Clearing your browser data removes the local copy; synced progress is restored when you sign in again
- We access your study data only to provide the sync feature and to handle support requests such as refunds or Pass Guarantee claims
3. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address when you create an account by email, or your email and basic profile from Google if you sign in with Google. Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase.
- Study progress (lessons completed, quiz and mock-exam results, flashcard activity, streaks, and dates) while you are signed in, so it can sync to your account.
Purchase Information
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive limited records such as your Stripe customer ID, the pass you purchased, the amount, and your access expiry date.
Information You Provide
- Communication: emails, bug reports, support messages, or documents you send us — for example, proof of student/military status or an official exam score report submitted for a Pass Guarantee claim.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage and device information: general usage statistics, browser type, operating system, and error logs, used for troubleshooting and improving the Service.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Improve and optimize the Service
- Fix bugs and technical issues
- Understand how users interact with Domain8
- Respond to support inquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud or security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. We may share information only:
- With service providers who assist us (under confidentiality obligations)
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect our rights or prevent harm
- In connection with a business transaction or acquisition
6. Cookies and Tracking
Domain8 uses cookies and local storage to save your progress and preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the app's functionality.
7. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following service providers to operate Domain8, and your information may be processed by them for that purpose:
- Supabase — account authentication, database, and storage of your synced progress.
- Stripe — payment processing for passes; Stripe handles your card details directly under its own privacy policy.
- Google — optional "Sign in with Google" authentication.
- hCaptcha — bot and abuse protection on sign-up and sign-in.
- Hostinger — website hosting.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We use them only as needed to provide the Service.
8. Data Security
Account data and synced progress are stored with our provider Supabase, protected by access controls so that each account can only read its own data, and transmitted over encrypted connections. Payment data is handled by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Children's Privacy
Domain8 is not intentionally designed for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information promptly.
